How to delete your account

• Open the app and sign in.
• Go to Settings (the gear on the survivor roster, or in the game menu) and tap Delete account… in the Account card.
• Confirm the dialog, then confirm it's you: your password, or your Play Games sign-in.
• That's it. The account is deleted at once and the app signs you out.

Can't sign in any more? Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, subject “Account deletion request”, and we will delete it for you within 30 days after confirming you own it.

What gets deleted

• Your account record — email address and login credentials (and the Play Games or Game Center identifier, if you signed in that way).
• All of your survivors: they die in the world, their names are erased, and their skills, private map and notices are deleted.
• Your settlement membership and personal storage. What your survivors carried, their lockers and their bitgold spill into the world where they stood, like any survivor's death.
• Your saved push-notification token and notification settings.

What we keep

• Purchase records — the store's purchase tokens, with no link to you, because they are financial records and guard against fraud. A lifetime unlock is lost with the account.
• A minimal record of the deletion itself — when it happened and how it was confirmed. No email address, no names.
• Backups — database backups made before the deletion are kept for up to 30 days, then destroyed.
• Shared world content that isn't personal to you — materials you gave a settlement's common stockpile, buildings you helped raise — remains part of that settlement.

Anything we keep is never used to re-identify you.

Subscriptions and the newsletter

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel it in Google Play. The website newsletter is a separate list: use the unsubscribe link in any issue.

How long it takes

In the app, deletion is immediate. It is permanent and cannot be undone — your survivors and progress cannot be recovered afterward. Requests made by email are actioned within 30 days.
